Who is Dr. John ?

​ESP Consulting was founded in 2014 by Dr. John Wozniak, and incorporated in 2023. Dr. John has nearly 30 years experience related to battery cell and pack manufacturing and design. He has done extensive testing of new technologies and has a broad view of industry power applications.

Dr. John's experience working for Energizer Power Systems, Compaq, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft has given him a unique perspective on the battery industry and general power applications. His prior 10 year academic career helped him to develop his unique coaching style that creates an effective relationship with clients, manufacturers and ODMs. Regular visits with clients in Asia and the US keep him informed of the latest manufacturing and technology developments.

He has been a featured speaker at many industry battery, power and quality conferences over the years. He holds engineering degrees from both MIT and the University of Florida, where he also completed his PhD and held a Research Faculty position.

Dr. John currently resides in the Houston area, but can be found in Taiwan, China and South Korea on a regular basis.
